Right on Target® Cooking Class with Chef Julie Frans

Join us at The Wynwood Yard for fun, hands-on Right on Target Cooking Classes led by some of Miami’s favorite chefs!

On Wednesday, August 15th, our very own farm-to-table chef and director of community and culinary at The Yard, Julie Frans, takes on this hands-on cooking class series to teach you how to whip up refreshing summer favorites with crisp summer wine pairings.

 

A few dishes you can expect to make include:

  • Watermelon gazpacho with lump crab, basil oil, toasted pepitas
  • Tomato & roasted beet salad with fresh herbs & pistachios over za'atar yogurt
  • Tropical snapper ceviche with serrano chile, red bell pepper, local mango & plantain chips
  • Grilled carrots over quinoa with herb chimichurri and feta

 

Wines will be paired by Juan Hernandez of Domaine Select.

 

A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Wellness in the Schools programs, which are committed to ending childhood obesity through nutrition and fitness education. This series is partially funded by Target Foundation and in partnership with Wellness in the Schools. Four tickets from each class will be donated to members of the community, including first responders and teachers.
