Zach Deputy Returns to The Yard!

Zach Deputy Returns to The Yard!

On his new release Another Day (Eusonia Records, 2011), Zach Deputy demonstrates his extraordinary ability to perform and record in multiple contexts and conveys the sensibilities of a mature singer/songwriter. Another Day offers another look at Zach Deputy and seeks to help him cross over into other audiences. Rich with ballads and mid-tempo songs, the music on this recording is best described as soulful rhythm and blues, with flavors of Al Green, Taj Mahal and Stevie Wonder emerging in the swells, changes and modulations of the music, in the voice and even in the lyrical content. The record will appeal to fans of contemporary artists like Jack Johnson and Amos Lee, but the origins of the style and feel remain classic. Another Day is an appropriately titled album, and it is truly an album in the classic sense—a collection of songs that come from the same time and place, inspired by the same muse. Reflective and introspective, it provides a glimpse at the soul of an artist and the depth of a songwriter. Full of hope and anticipation of the promise of another day, a new day, it is a pivotal point in the career of a touring musician. Whereas it is a departure for Zach Deputy, it is one that he feels confident his fans can relate to, but it isn’t the end in itself. Deputy’s multi-faceted diamond gets one side polished in this offering, and it is a side that will shine brightly for a new audience.

Dangermuffin Live

http://dangermuffinmusic.com/

Charleston, SC’s Dangermuffin is proud to announce the release of their newest studio album Heritage on March 31st, 2017. Themes of sea, sun, and spiritual connection weave through the eight-track release combining a cohesive blend of Alt-Americana, Island grooves, Folk and Jam. In celebration of the band’s sixth release, Dangermuffin will tour throughout the spring and summer in support of the album. A full list of confirmed dates are below with more to be announced soon.

On Heritage, Dangermuffin reaches into their creative arsenal to craft an album showcasing the band’s signature coastal-influenced grooves melded with Americana sensibilities and Appalachian fingerpicking. The album’s lyrics contemplate the universal human connection to our ancestors, ancient traditions and symbols while yearning for humanity to get back to its roots. It is an audible showcase weaving introspective lyrics with catchy, nimble guitar riffs. Six of the eight songs were recorded acoustically adding to the album’s organic feel; and although Dangermuffin has performed as a trio for many years, the recent addition of their newest member Markus Helander of Finland on drums makes Heritage the band’s most progressive album to date. Fittingly, the album’s soaring vocals were recorded in Charleston’s historic Unitarian Church, a National Historic Landmark built in 1772.

Nat'lee Live at The Yard

Coming from Little Havana in Miami, Florida, Nat’Lee is a singer-songwriter that draws influences from all over to perfect a sound that does not fit into a typical genre. She draws inspiration from all over to perfect a sound that does not fit into a typical genre, most mostly centers her sound from pop, rock, Latin, and hip-hop.

Some of her influences include, Prince, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, Duffy, Joss Stone, and Corrine Bailey Rae. Her smooth and powerful vocals paired with her heartfelt lyrics show Nat’Lee is ready to take on the world.

The Miami native started her career at a young age singing and dancing. Her first signing gig was in 2010, when she was just 16 years old, performing at Camp Jam 2010. During the event, she played three shows in front of over 6,000 kids. Her early career also featured performances at The Miami Dade County Youth Fair, North Miami Beach Festival, and Miami’s famous Callo Ocho. Nat’Lee also supports the Miami community, and has supported multiple charity events such as I Love Lucy Canines, The Drink to Pink, and Relay for Life.

In her late teens, Nat’Lee focused more on dancing and landed some opportunities any aspiring dancer would kill for. As a dancer Natalie has been featured in music videos such as Casley’s “Burn It Up,” Black Dada’s “Imma Zoe” remix, “Caught Me Slippin” ft. Flo Rida, Young Money/Cash Money with Lil Wayne ft. Shannell, “Runnin,” by Lil Twist ft. Bow Wow, Cymia’s “Kid Nation,” Enrique Iglesias ft. Pit Bull “I Like It,” and Lil Chuckee’s “Miami” and “Good Life”. Nat’Lee even debuted in, Magic City, a dance movie produced and directed by Malcolm Jones ft. Flo Rida and Mindless Behavior. She also premiered as a dancer for Black Dada when he opened for Trey Songz, and the UFC half time show.

Deciding that she wanted to get serious and focus on her music, she auditioned for the Telemundo-produced talent show, Yo Soy El Artista. Making it all the way to the semi-finals, Nat’Lee was able to experiment with her sound, and gain national television exposure. She also appeared on several other television shows such as, Agrandaditos.

Recently Nat’Lee entered an artist development competition with 3300+Climbing, which is an artist development initiative based out of Full Sail University. The competition was fierce, but Nat’Lee pushed through with her booming voice and energetic presence. With 3300+Climbing, Nat’Lee will be working to boost all aspects of her career.

Nat’Lee is always writing new music and just released her EP, I Fu*king Love You. This EP is a documented work of where Nat’Lee is right now, and her own interpretation on relationships. She is rapidly taking over the Miami area, and catching the eye of producers and industry professionals. You can find her showcasing her talents in and around Miami as well as in Orlando, doing what she loves the most. Nat’Lee’s EP, I Fu*king Love You, is available for streaming now on Soundcloud.
