Join us at The Wynwood Yard for fun, hands-on Right on Target Cooking Classes led by some of Miami’s favorite chefs!
On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, we’re slinging Vietnamese-Cajun eats with Chef Cesar Zapata of Phuc Yea and Pho Mi. Phuc Yea was Miami’s first pop-up eatery when it debuted in 2011, and it is now a brick and mortar restaurant in Miami's MiMo district.
Zapata has received numerous national accolades, including being a semi-finalist on Gordon Ramsay’s Best New Restaurantand a feature on The Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.The culinary mischief gets going at 8:30 p.m.
Here's what's on the menu:
Green papaya salad (nuoc cham, dried shrimp, carrot, crispies, peanut)
Spicy tuna summer roll (soft rice paper rolls, lemongrass chili tuna tartare, puffed rice, herbage, sriracha aioli)
Veggie curry (tofu, eggplant, assorted mushrooms, house curry, jasmine rice)
Saigon breakfast (vanilla ice cream, green tea glaze, Frosted Flakes, boba pearls)
A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Wellness in the Schoolsprograms, which are committed to ending childhood obesity through nutrition and fitness education. This series is partially funded by Target Foundation and in partnership with Wellness in the Schools. Four tickets from each class will be donated to members of the community, including first responders and teachers.
