Out of an NYC Afro Cuban music cocoon, Jose Conde has emerged with a Moog synthesizer in hand, looper, phat beats and a slew of new structured songs and free form jams in pocket, to launch his new sonic experiment and journey into tropical, electric, ass shaking funk. Bravely exploring rhythmic crosscurrents has long been a passion of Conde who won the Best Latin Album IMA in 2008 with his Ola Fresca group and later received accolades for his first solo effort, Jose Conde self titled - 2011. The new Jose Conde solo project features Conde on keys, electric guitars, vocals and minor percussion performing solo with his extensive setup and collaborating with guest musicians, or other sound and noise artists. Brooklyn based for 15 years and his 3 albums with OLA FRESCA Cuban band, Jose Conde is currently in Miami working on his second solo album which he is co producing with Andrew Yeomanson of the Spam Allstars.
