Join us at The Wynwood Yard for fun, hands-on Right on Target Cooking Classes led by some of Miami’s favorite chefs!
On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, award-winning Pastry Chef Max Santiago returns to the 305 to lead a cake-building class. Max is currently The Corporate Executive Pastry Chef of The Sugar Factory. He’s also the Cooking Channel’s Sugar Showdown Champion and is widely recognized as the catalyst for Miami’s donut craze.
Participants will learn how to make a delicious Frangelico-spiked yellow cake layered with homemade raspberry jam and French praline buttercream. Then they’ll finish off all that yummy goodness with their favorite toppings. The cake-making gets going at 6:30 PM.
A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Wellness in the Schools programs, which are committed to ending childhood obesity through nutrition and fitness education. This series is partially funded by Target Foundation and in partnership with Wellness in the Schools. Four tickets from each class will be donated to members of the community, including first responders and teachers.
