Slow Food Miami will hold this month's Snail Social roaming happy hour on December 12th from 6 to 8 PM at Charcoal Garden Bar and Restaurant at The Wynwood Yard.
Attendees of December 12’s Snail Social can enjoy a welcome cocktail punch with garden herbs, beer or wine on tap, and passed Prosecco, 6-8pm. Guests can savor bites, including:
-House cured gravlox with dill mustard on caraway seed crackers
-Harpke Farms petite radishes with cultured butter and Maldon Sea Salt
-Pan con tomate
-Poached local beets with cave-aged blue cheese, crushed walnuts, and local honey
-Olive oil marinated chorizo and octopus in new potato cups
Slow Food Miami suggests a $15 minimum donation - that's about the cost of a glass of wine, and 100% of the proceeds will go toward our local farms and helping them get back on their feet after Irma. Many South Florida Farms have been devastated by Irma, and it will take months (or years) to recover. Funds raised through Snail Socials will all go to help our farmers recover.
*We do have a few student and teacher "sponsored" tickets- message Slow Food Miami on Facebook if interested!
