Kitchen & CulinarySkills Labs for Kids at The Wynwood Yard are hosted by the culinary pros at Skills, Culinary & Kitchen. Classes are age-appropriate culinary experiences that will enrich your child’s understanding of food and where it comes from, as well as sharpen their skills in the kitchen. We’ll explore all sorts of ingredients, from the farm to the table, learning how to harvest, prepare, cook and eat them. Little will your budding cooks know that as they’re having fun getting their hands dirty in the kitchen peeling, slicing, washing, mashing and whisking, they’ll also be reinforcing their math, reading, and science skills. 

Join us for our second kitchen and cooking skills lab on Saturday, January 2, from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m for a Sweet and Savory Waffles Class.  Stay and observe your new kitchen mate in training or take some well-deserved me time to munch on fare from one of The Wynwood Yard’s resident food concepts, or relax with beverages concocted by the award-winning bartender-and-chef team at Thyme, the Yard’s innovative outdoor bar.
